[Not long after this post from the Malnosso's new therapist, there is a huge racket going on at the Welcome Center. His rage at the thought of being taken to therapy and his instability in Luceti has gone over the edge and Walter is screaming and throwing chairs and bed mattresses, lamps and anything else he can get his hands on. The tirade is caught on video as he throws his journal across the room, smashing it into the wall and jolting it on. It shows him upside down.]

I will not go! They can't make me!

Peter! Peter!! [He picks up a glass and smashes it against the far wall.]

Disgusting, dirty, everything is contaminated with their evil! They're watching our every move! Everything we do! Our entire lives - our privacy, our names!

Damn vipers among our ranks and we can't even ferret them out?!

I won't go! I will NOT be taken again!! Peter! You can't let them take me again!

[He grabs a lamp and smashes it against the floor repeatedly.]

I'll find how you watch us and I'll destroy it! I'll find it and destroy it!!!

[Spock happens to be walking through the welcome center (because they serve good tea), so when the rather loud noises and exclamations begin, the Vulcan investigates.
He quirks an eyebrow when he notices the source...]

Excuse me, are you in need of assistance?

-Whoa;...! Calm down, mister.

[He's still smashing the lamp onto the ground, but when the thing finally disintegrates, he drops to his knees, pushing the shards around with his hands as if searching for something.]

Shh!!! [He drops his voices and motions the stranger over and points at the shards with hands laced with cuts.]

They're listening to us! I have to find their devices.

[Voices. Voices in his head? He stops and whips around.]

You! Where are you?!

I'm at my HQ and speaking to you through the book, which just recorded your whole rant there.

Are-

[The book? Book. Book book book. He sloshes through the wreckage he made and finds it, shaking it.]

Are you working for them? Spying for them?!

No, I'm not.

Then who are you?

[He stops shaking the book and tosses it away, still talking to it as he moves through and starts shuffling through the pieces of all the things he broke.]

They're watching us. Listening and waiting for the time to send us all to some damp dark place where we're never heard from again. So who are you?

[And Shepard is here at the Welcome Center too after he's made a quick mental map of most of the village. He figures ending up here would be good since... it's a Welcome Center.

He's off in a corner, talking to some random NPC when Walter's crazy shit is going down. Throwing a thumb over his shoulder to point in Walter's direction, he glances at the NPC.]

Who the hell let the crazies out tonight?

[Now he's going to head on over to maybe calm this dude the fuck down.]

Hey, relax before something bad happens.

I'm Haruhi Suzumiya, chief of the SOS-Brigade.

[...Damp dark place... she can't just say "no" to that outright] Like I said, I'm in this village.

SOS - help. Do you provide help? I need help finding their listening devices. I need to know how they found out my name. How do they know about us?

I... do have an idea, but I think it would be better to talk about it in person. Do you think we could meet somewhere?

[He's stopped smashing the lamp and had turned to trying to pull apart the bedding, throwing the pillows and mattresses. Walter looks up and his lip curls back in a sneer.]

Something bad has already happened or are you unaware of the viper they've placed among our midsts?

[He continues throwing things across the room, ripping open pillows and throwing the feathers everywhere.]

They're going to "make us better." HAH! More like stick probes into our brains and scramble what's in there to suit their needs!

....Meet....

[He looks at his hands. They're bleeding. He rubs them against his new feather pants and then starts walking distractedly.]

Away from here. I think...I think I broke everything....

[What has she gotten herself into. She exhales, and...] There's my HQ, or my house - or we could meet at the tea show or wherever you'd like.

[Shepard dodges one pillow and then crouches in front of Walter.]

When I said something bad might happen, I was referring to the fact that I might have to knock you out.

[Said quietly and calmly despite the actual words involved.]

I think I... Do you have bandages? I seem to be bleeding.

[... Which is a quick answer, but it's true. She's got a first aide kit] And don't worry, I'll be right there.

[When she arrives, there's a scared looking old man, wearing new feather pants and a beige sweater cardigan. He's barefoot and there are cuts lacing his hands and feet, swipes of blood on his pants. He's wringing his left hand with his right, staring off at nothing in particular.]

I am not a lunatic! ...I'm not. [He sits on the floor, staring at the mess he's made, the pillow still in his hands, half deflated.]

....They're listening to us - how else would she know my name, about our pasts? The things they know are private and they're prying. Why does it not bother anyone else?

She? Who the hell are you even talking about?

[And Haruhi... is a 5'2 Japanese woman who has a fluffy white coat on which may or may not be slightly unseasonably thick, but she thinks it looks nice. And when she sees the old man... yeah, that looks like who was in the video. She's got a first aide kit under her arm, but frowns briefly when she realizes she doesn't actually know the guy's name. Well crab. She puts a smile on her face though as she walks over to the guy and reaches out to lightly touch one of his arms]

Excuse me?

[He jumps up and shuffles over to the book, turning to the Malnosso's entry and shoving it in the stranger's hands.]

Do you not read? Look! It's all right here. They send a child to analyze us.

[He jumps slightly, having been lost in thought, then looks up at the little girl who has come to fetch him.

No, not a girl - a young lady.

He frowns. He doesn't know her.]

Who are you?

[He takes it with a bit of skepticism on his face but glosses over it a bit before handing it back.]
